In the early months of 2021, the Sri Lalithambigai Temple, also known as Bhuvaneshwari Peetam, emerged as a sacred haven under the divine guidance of Murugeswari Mariraj. This spiritual sanctuary, nestled within their own home, materialized from Murugeswari Mariraj's profound meditative communion with the divine mother.
Within its sanctified confines, the temple enshrines revered deities such as Devi Shri Lalithambiga, Ganesha, Meenakshi, and Varahi. Fashioned from Panchaloha and transported from India, the sacred idols underwent consecration through the sacred practice of Prana Prathishta. This intricate process, preceded by 48 days of devoted mandala pooja orchestrated by the couple, imbued the idols with divine presence.
Every ritual and observance within this sanctum is meticulously carried out under the direct guidance of Devi, received through the medium of meditation, fostering an intimate spiritual connection. Following a year-long continuum of meditation, the goddess expressed her pleasure and bestowed her divine directive: the construction of a grand temple dedicated to the eternal mother herself. This forthcoming temple will house a Shiva Linga, Lord Vinayaga, Lord Muruga, Lord Ayyappa, Lord Venkateshwara, and a Sangeetha Kala Mandapam—a testament to the unwavering devotion and spiritual journey of Murugeswari Mariraj and their reverence for the divine mother.
